AutoSonix aims to change that.


Its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered device connects to a vehicle, "listens" to it, and converts its sounds into real-time diagnostic data. This new technology offers mechanics and vehicle owners a way to identify faults using nothing more than sound waves.


How does the system work? It uses machine learning algorithms trained on thousands of audio recordings.


From the sound of a properly functioning engine to the noise of a worn belt or a turbocharger, the AI isolates and filters each sound before comparing it with a database of acoustic signatures. As a result, it can provide a diagnosis with a level of accuracy that can often exceed even that of an experienced mechanic.



At this stage, the system's primary goal is to save time, simplify the diagnostic process, and make vehicle servicing more accessible.
